ABOUT THIS POSITION
The PPL is looking for a Library Circulation Attendant III to supervise circulation activities of the major Ironwood library branch located at 4333 E. Chandler Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85048.
- Assisting library users in obtaining library cards,
- Paying library charges.
- Checking materials in and out of the library.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, resolve problems and work with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced environment.
SALARY
Pay Range: $21.54 to $40.61 per hour.
Hiring Range: $21.54 to $26.18 per hour.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years of library clerical experience.
- Including one year of experience at a circulation desk with limited supervisory responsibilities (one year at the level of Library Circulation Attendant II).
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
- Bilingual - Spanish

Experience with:
- Working with an Integrated Library System (ILS).
- Developing and maintaining SOP and other polices.
- Analyzing statistics.
- Planning and executing special events.
- Supervising staff in a professional environment and training staff on policy and procedures.
- Storyboarding, filming and editing promotional and instructional videos.
- Serving as a liaison/representative of an organization.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies including collateral for print, web, and social media content and platforms.
- Administering Public Information function including developing messages for multiple audiences and handling media requests.
