Pipefitter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction site protocols, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our piping systems.

Duties

• Install and maintain piping systems for HVAC and plumbing applications.
• Utilize tools such as calipers to ensure precise measurements and fittings.
• Perform welding tasks including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and meet industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Solder pipes as needed for various applications.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing standards, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with welding techniques including FCAW and Stick welding is preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
