POSITION SUMMARY
The City of Pittsburg is searching for a Technical Installer to install cameras all over the City. This is a part-time position with around 20 hours a week. The Technical Installer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining cameras all over town.
Qualifications
POSITION COMPETENCIES
- Basic knowledge of cameras and installation.
- Ability to install cameras from various heights in a bucket truck.
- Ability to perform minor wiring and configuration of cameras.
- Ability to work closely with Information Technology and Facility Maintenance departments to install cameras in a timely manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work will primarily be performed outside in various weather conditions.
Requirements
EDUCATION
High School Equivalent or GED required. Experience with cameras or other software preferred, but not required.
