- WORK EXPERIENCE: None required for this position.
- EDUCATION/TRAINING: Must be currently enrolled and taking classes in an accredited Law school; OR have graduated within the last twelve (12) months.
- EQUIVALENCY: None permitted for this position.
Conducts simple to moderately complex legal research in connection with advisory and enforcement cases assigned.
Analyzes and makes judgments about assigned cases; interprets existing laws and regulations.
Informs supervisor of results of legal research.
Meets with City personnel, officials and state and/or federal agencies on assigned legal research assignments.
Drafts rules, regulations, policies and procedures to be implemented by City Departments; monitors full implementation of approved rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Prepares accurate reports, records, correspondence, etc.
Creates ethics handbook and training materials for City employees, officials, candidates, vendors and others subject to the Board’s jurisdiction.
Performs activities and functions of related personnel and other related tasks and duties that are assigned or required.
