Routine work in preparing, issuing and maintaining golf carts. Work is performed under direct supervision. Assists golfers with carts and clubs when necessary. Checks carts for damage or mechanical problems. Removes trash. Hoses carts. Recharges batteries as needed. Schedules carts for servicing. Assists mechanics with servicing. Keeps records on charging, maintenance and breakdowns of carts. Replaces non-operating carts on courses as needed. Cleans and maintains cart shed. Accounts for all golf carts, locks cart shed and sets alarm. Operates golf carts. May drive a car or truck. Assisting at the driving range when needed. Performs related work as required.
Typical Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Some mechanical maintenance experience and a valid Florida driver license required. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the required minimum qualifications. Ability to perform limited maintenance and custodial duties. Ability to safely operate golf carts. Exposure to all weather conditions. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to establish rapport with the public served. Significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and handling, sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling.

Work Days/Hours : Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Must be available to work 8 hours per day, (open shift 5:00 am - 1:00 pm) or (closing shift 1:00 pm -9:00 pm).
