POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Prepare food to be served to students and staff and monitor food supply during the serving time. Understand the school meal patterns and work to assure all students receive their required amount of food.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to count and process large sums of money.
- Experience in a multi-racial school or community.
- Excellent attendance and health record.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
- Criminal background check and drug screen required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume the responsibility for preparing and packing box lunches.
- Assist with general sanitation of pots, pans, cabinets, transporting in the kitchen area.
- Assist with washing and cleaning of utensils.
- Must be able to take orders from Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
