DIRECTOR OF UTILITIES – CLASS 4 CERTIFIED OPERATOR WATER AND GAS
The City of Port Allen is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Utilities – must be a Class 4 Certified Operator in Water and Gas, have a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by 12 yrs of experience in general municipal maintenance and repair activities, including 3 yrs of supervisory level.
This position serves under the direct supervision of the mayor. He or she will be responsible for the daily administration, coordination and supervision of the Utilities Department. The incumbent directs and schedules the activities of subordinates engaged in the distribution of gas, the production and distribution of water and associated activities. Work is reviewed through conferences and written reports for results obtained.
