DIRECTOR OF NUTRITION
Barron Center - Full time position - 37.5 hours per week
The Barron Center, where kindness matters, has an opportunity for an experienced food service director to lead an excellent large-scale food service team. The Director of Nutrition plans, directs, and manages the administration and operation of food services for a 219-bed, multi-building, long-term care health care facility. Now is your chance to have the job you always wanted, leading your team to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in a skilled nursing environment, and familiarity with the regulations that accompany the role.
- Food service supervisor experience and considerable experience in a large-scale food service operation.
- Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team to optimize residents' health and wellbeing.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- A degree in culinary arts, business management, or relevant subject area preferred.
- Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
- Ideal candidates will be a Certified Dietary Manager and have their Serve Safe Certification.
- Preference for candidates who are familiar with dementia care and the accompanying special needs.
Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a non-union position (Grade C42) - Annual salary range: $70,708 to $88,262, depending on experience.
