SEASONAL CEMETERIES GROUNDSKEEPERS
Seasonal Cemeteries Groundskeepers - Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department - Cemeteries Division
May through November, full-time schedule (40 hours/week); schedule may include weekends.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Seasonal Cemetery Groundskeepers. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the cemetery grounds, ensuring that the landscape remains well-kept and serene for visitors. Responsibilities include the maintenance and upkeep of City Cemeteries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mowing & trimming
- Trash collection
- General grounds/landscape and horticultural maintenance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous grounds/landscape maintenance preferred.
- Previous experience with zero turn riding mowers desired.
- Responsibility, maturity, dedication.
- Ability to work in varied weather conditions are a must.
- Applicants for Groundskeeper positions must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid Maine Class C driver’s license is preferred, and a Department of Motor Vehicle check will be conducted on those who have one.

Hourly Rate
$18.00/hr.
