The Parks Department is hiring seasonal employees to work in the Parks for the summer. Work may include:
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding and aerating
- Perform landscape and clean up duties, including trash and debris removal
- Assist with tree planting, pruning and removal
- Set up for reservations and special events
- Inspect, maintain and repair benches, picnic tables, receptacles, playground structures & signs
- Repair vandalism and other damage
- Pay starts at $14.90
Acceptable Experience and Training
- High school diploma or GED equivalency; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- At least 18 years of age.
