Kiosk Attendant
Recreation Services Department
Part-Time Temporary Position
20 to 30 hours per week - Not eligible for benefits
Starting Pay Range: $15.00 Deadline to Apply: 04/04/2025 |
Work Schedule:
2-3 days per week, work days will vary based on staffing needs but may consist of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and/or Monday. At times, must be available to help out with special events in the parks.
Essential Duties:
- Performs parking attendant transactions and direct customer service to public.
- Receives cash and credit cards and operates cash register.
- Prepares bank deposits and daily cash balance reports.
- Performs restroom servicing, trash pickup, emptying of garbage cans, weeding, and grooming of camp sites for upcoming reservations.
- Assist in ramada prep reservations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year cashiering and customer service experience required. Candidate of choice must pass pre-employment drug test and background check prior to being placed in the position. Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Knowledge of general office procedures, methods and equipment; customer service principles, practices and techniques, and hazards and safety precautions.
- Skill in operating cash register.
- Skill in cash handling, reconciling cash accounts, and performing light maintenance tasks.
- Sufficient to effectively and safely perform required duties and to safely operate required equipment and City vehicle as needed.
Physical and Visual Abilities:
- Sufficient to effectively and safely perform required duties and to safely operate required equipment and City vehicle as needed.
