ANNOUNCEMENT OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Recreation Site Host - 2 openings
Goldwater Lake (1), Watson Lake (1)
This is a volunteer position.
As volunteers for the City of Prescott, the Recreation Site Host shall provide customer service and custodial duties for the City of Prescott's city-wide Recreation Services sites during the camping season.
Duties:
- Working a schedule and duties; provided by the Recreation Services Department Maintenance Supervisor or designee
- Assisting campers with camping registrations and payments
- Keeping track of occupied and reserved sites; directing campers to vacant sites
- Working cooperatively with Department maintenance staff and volunteers
- Wearing any uniform items provided by the Department
- Complying with all park rules and regulations
- Working closely with law enforcement personnel as needed
- Keeping their campsite in a presentable condition
- Opening and closing entrance gates as requested
- Keeping pets under control at all times
- Manage site when reserved for a large-scale event
- Other duties as assigned
