The Marketing Ambassador will serve as a liaison between the Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department and the community. Ambassadors will promote the department’s programs and services by working at local community events interacting with patrons. Events are scheduled through the Marketing Communications Program Coordinator and held throughout the year. Event times vary and include weekdays, weekends, evening and daytime shifts. Events are typically a minimum of two hours. Marketing Ambassadors generally work six to eight hours per week. Events may include health fairs, community events, school fairs, and department special events.
Ideal candidates are those with flexible schedules looking for part-time employment.
Responsibilities :
- Execute department’s promotional activities at event locations including set-up and take down.
- Maintain safe operation of prizes, equipment, and other promotional tools.
- Speak and interact with event participants.
- Promote the department’s programs.
- Provide feedback and evaluation to the Marketing Communications Program Coordinator at the conclusion of an event.
