Maintenance and Operations Technician I/IIMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain knowledge and abilities would be:
Maintenance and Operations Technician I - Hourly Range: $30.79 - $37.65
- Equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
- Some experience related to the maintenance and construction of public works infrastructure is desirable.
- Possession of a valid California driver's license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Traffic Control and/or Flagger Certification within one (1) year of appointment in position
- Equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
- Two (2) years maintenance and construction experience as a Maintenance and Operations Technician I in the City of Rancho Cordova or three (3) years of increasing full-time experience related to the maintenance and construction of public works infrastructure that included the oversight of outside contractors.
- Possession of a valid California driver's license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Traffic Control and/or Flagger Certification within one (1) year of appointment in position
