JOB SUMMARY- Soccer Referee
Referees games; enforces rules, assesses penalties, signals the start and end of games, stops play for reviews as needed and inspects sports equipment prior to the start of games. This position requires interaction with the general public.
SCHEDULE: Seasonal Part time – Spring/Summer 2024
RATE OF PAY:
Age Division U7 and U9: $15.00 per game
Age Division U11: $15.00 per game for games you referee solo
$12.00 per game for games with a co-referee
Age Division U13: $20.00 per game for games you referee solo
$14.00 per game for games with a co-referee
EXPERIENCE AND KEY CHARACTERISTICS FOR POSITION:
The type of person who will be successful is one that is people oriented, can handle multiple priorities, understands sports referee duties, and is dependable.
· Previous soccer experience required
· Able to communicate effectively with the general public in a positive and helpful demeanor
· Demonstrates high integrity and work ethic
· Must pass a drug screen and complete a full background check performed by Ravenna P.D.
