The City of Rawlins is seeking qualified candidates to fill Seasonal Position at the Recreation Center. Under general supervision of the Recreation Center Supervisor; Assists in hosting activities and events occurring within the indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Participates in the preparation and facilitation of programming.
Recreation Center: Field preparation, youth program leader, set up and take down equipment for concerts. Weekends are not a regular requirement. Hours may vary.
Applicants must be at least 16-years of age (unless otherwise specified) and successfully clear a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
City of Rawlins Recreation Services Department is seeking applications for a Shooting Range Seasonal with responsibility for the indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. This position will work under the general supervision of the Recreation Director with a significant amount of independence in completing job responsibilities. This position involves supervision over shooters at the ranges, and responsibility for the policing of range areas. Technical tasks relative to the administration of shooting programs and care and maintenance of equipment and facilities are requisite. Working hours vary according to events and will require evenings and weekends. Position is part time.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and successfully clear a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Preferred skills include good knowledge of the care and handling of firearms, sporting and shooting equipment, knowledge of range and safety procedures, ability to teach the fundamentals of shooting and good judgement. Completed firearm safety training is preferred.
