**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utilities Director to join our team at the City of Rialto, CA. As a key member of our Utilities Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative direction to the activities and operations of the water and wastewater utilities, while ensuring that all services and activities adhere to established City policies, procedures, and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analysis and review of the services and activities of the Water and Wastewater Utility operations.
- Administer the City's contract with its P3 partner and oversee the contamination clean-up of the Rialto Basin.
- Direct preparation, development, and evaluation of technical studies, including review of technology and analysis of necessary actions.
- Participate in the shared development and provide ongoing oversight of a thorough Capital Improvement Program that ensures the long-term viability of the City's utility.
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering, public administration, or a related field.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is desirable.
