Regular Full-Time City Planner - FLSA Exempt
The City of Rice Lake is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its team as a Regular Full-Time City Planner. This role plays a vital part in shaping the future of our community through strategic planning, policy development, and collaborative efforts with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Zoning and subdivision regulations
- Laws and regulations related to Wisconsin State Statutes
- Comprehensive planning and capital improvements
- Development of short- and long-range plans
This position also involves supervising a part-time employee and assisting department heads with planning for future capital needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or equivalent
- Experience in municipal financial forecasting and assessor functions preferred
- Working knowledge of engineering principles related to urban development
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and Beacon GIS
