Description Summary
Must be 21 years of age by Jan. 8, 2024. Must have a VALID Class C Driver’s License or higher by date of application. Must obtain Texas Class B Public Safety Exempt license within time specified by the Fire Dept. HS Diploma or GED required. Certification as a Paramedic through the Texas Department of State Health Services is preferred. TCFP Firefighter 2 Certification is preferred. ANNUAL SALARY: Starting salary will be based on certification level; Certified FF/Paramedic with experience from a paid Fire Dept: $71,376-$82,680 DOQ; TX Department of State Health Services Certified Paramedic Base Pay: $67,632; No Certifications: $64,704 Annually. Applicants MUST apply ONLINE. There will be three test sessions: Sept. 7, 2023 at 10:00 am, Sept. 7, 2023 at 6:00 pm and Sept. 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Only 200 applicants will be allowed to test at each time. The close date is Aug 28, 2023 at 5:00 pm. or earlier if test sessions are filled
