General Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the assigned supervisor or designee, performs manual labor in a variety of tasks in the maintenance of City parks and facilities. Subject to after hours and weekend work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license.
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Desirable Qualifications
- Two (2) years of professional experience in lawn maintenance and landscaping, including athletic fields, public parks, and turf maintenance.
- Two (2) years of experience and knowledge of other specialties, such as irrigation, herbicide/pesticide, arboriculture, janitorial, building maintenance and repair, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Two (2) years of experience in ballfield maintenance.
