The Fire and Emergency Services Department is looking for a well-qualified Community Risk Reduction Specialist to join their team!
GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs technical work conducting fire and life safety inspections for the Richland Fire & Emergency Services department, assisting with the development and maintenance of community risk reduction programs, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Deputy Fire Marshal (“supervisor”).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license.
- Obtain Fire Inspector I Certification from the International Code Council (ICC) within twelve (12) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Obtain Fire Inspector II Certification from the International Code Council (ICC) within eighteen (18) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years’ experience performing building code inspections, fire code enforcement or relevant experience.
Salary : $35 - $49
