General Definition of Work
Performs routine customer service and operational tasks at the Cordell Municipal Pool, including processing sales, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the Admission Area if needed. Work is performed under general supervision of pool manager and the Assistant Superintendent.

Essential Functions
Prepare food items for concession sales.
Process transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
Keeps facility and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized.
Follows food safety and health department regulations when handling food service operations.
Accurately handles cash transactions and makes correct change.
Completes inventory of food and products.
Assists with clean-up of equipment as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of food service operations, computer usage, and sales transactions; Ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment; Ability to handle and store inventory properly; Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with the public, including individuals who may display challenging or difficult behavior; Ability to follow safety and health regulations; and skill in operating computers and food service equipment (training provided as needed).
Education and Experience
Prior experience in customer service, food service, or retail preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
This job involves moderate physical effort, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Regular tasks include speaking, hearing, handling objects, and repetitive motions. Frequent activities involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and pushing or pulling, with occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, and tasting or smelling. The job requires standard vision, clear vocal communication, and the ability to hear and distinguish sounds accurately. Duties may include working with computers, inspecting small details, using measuring tools, and monitoring surroundings. The work environment includes regular exposure to outdoor weather, frequent extreme heat (non-weather), and occasional risks such as moving parts, heights, airborne particles, extreme cold, electrical shock, and bloodborne pathogens. Personal protective equipment may be required. Noise levels are generally moderate (e.g., office or light traffic).
