Position Overview :
As a Technology Systems Developer - Oracle Apex, you will be responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining of our in-house developed Oracle Apex revenue collection management system. We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apex Developer with a strong background in full-stack development and extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing browser-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) and related web technologies. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Oracle databases, data migration, query optimization, and JavaScript. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining custom Oracle applications, and your expertise in JavaScript will be crucial in enhancing user interfaces and overall application functionality
Duties include but are not limited to
Incumbents serves as an Essential employee, which means that the incumbent is required to work when the City is closed due to public emergencies, critical or hazardous conditions, or inclement weather The incumbent in this position is required to serve on-call 24 hours / 7 days a week to provide leadership for the support and resolution of problems for critical systems and applications within the assigned City of Richmond portfolio.
