Job Summary:
The Camp Host Lead oversees the daily operations and activities of the camp host team at Rifle Mountain Park. This position ensures smooth and efficient park operations, delivering exceptional service to visitors while maintaining park facilities and grounds to a high standard. The Camp Host Lead provides leadership, guidance, and support to camp hosts, coordinates schedules, monitors compliance with park policies, and acts as the primary point of contact for escalated visitor concerns or emergencies. This is an in-person position that is not eligible for regular remote work.
Experience and Training:
Minimum Education: None Required.
Job Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Ability to successfully complete a background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and on holidays.
Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: Three years of experience in campground management.
This is a part-time seasonal position with no benefits. The wage for this position is $20.00-$23.00 depending on experience and qualifications. This position is open until April 15th
