EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Equipment Operations: Operates effectively any of the equipment used in the airport operations such as fire truck, high-speed broom/plow, snow blower, trucks, and mowers. Assists with training of personnel in the operation of machinery, in methods and approaches to assigned tasks. Operations & Maintenance: Performs a wide variety of operational and maintenance duties requiring the exercise of considerable independent judgment. Performs Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) coverage during scheduled FAA, Part 139 Commercial Airline Flights. Performs snow removal and mowing as required by FAR Part 139. Responds to emergency calls at the airport as ARFF, and Operations/Maintenance. Participates with other personnel in the daily operation activities of the airport. Performs airport security functions in coordination with the Airport Security Coordinator, TSA and other Governmental entities. Safety & Occupational Health: Ensures that he/she complies with applicable safety and occupational health standards.
