What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up/Changeover Staff (Part Time) position at City of Roanoke, Virginia?
We are seeking motivated, friendly and energetic individuals to work on a part- time basis in the following position:
Set-Up/Changeover Staff - Assisting in the set up and taking down of flooring, portable chairs, tables, bleachers, barricades, staging, and other special equipment for events. Heavy lifting, accuracy and speed are critical. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Depending on position, may include the following:
Assisting in the set up and taking down of flooring, portable chairs, tables, bleachers, barricades, staging, and other special equipment for events
Assist in the set-up, breakdown and coordination of catering functions
Set up and break down of concession areas
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Individuals should possess strong customer skills and enthusiasm
Heavy lifting, accuracy and speed are critical
Ability to be thorough in a limited time frame
