Outdoor Pool Lifeguard & Head Lifeguard
Responsible for the safe operation of the aquatic facility. Implement daily schedule of activities such as swim lessons and public swim times. Responsible for enforcing pool rules. Maintain positive public relationships at all aquatic facilities. Current lifeguard certification or ability to take Rochester Recreation Lifeguarding course a must.
Position available June, July & August; up to 40 hours/week; starting at $15.75/hour and up based on experience.
- Rochester Recreation provides FREE Lifeguard certification training for eligible candidates.
Requirements for all Positions:
Must be at least 15 years of age. Requirements include certification in CPR and First Aid, or ability to take internal Rochester Recreation certification course. High-energy level and effective communication skills. Pre-employment testing to include criminal record check and drug screening.
