Description
The Greenskeeper I, under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, is responsible for performing essential maintenance tasks on the golf course. Key duties include mowing, changing cups, and general labor support to ensure the course remains in optimal condition.
Examples of Duties
Performs basic work on the golf course while using push mowers, green and tee mowers, fairway mowers, out-front mowers, bunker rakes and aerifiers.
Changing cups.
Performs labor work which includes using shovels, axes, sledge hammers and rakes.
Typical Qualifications
Requires a valid driver's license.
Ability to follow oral and written directions

Requires ability to tolerate extremes of weather, as well as perform frequent; standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, squatting and heavy lifting (as defined by OSHA Work Practices Guide).
