Description
Enforce golf course rules and regulations; disseminate information and assist public on the golf course; and assist with office and telephones, etc.
Examples of Duties
Unlocks facility, conducts safety inspections and secures facility.
Performs first aid and completes accident reports as needed.
Works during Department special events (weekends and evenings included).
Patrols golf facilities and grounds
Performs related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
Requires the completion of a 4-year high school program or its equivalent. Training and experience will be considered.
Knowledge of park facility rules.
Ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Work well with staff and public.
Skillful in conflict resolution, teamwork and public relations.
Supplemental Information
While performing duties at this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. Employee will be required to use hands, fingers, and vision to patrol and other tools. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Work requires standing and walking outdoors for extended period of time.
