What are the responsibilities and job description for the WWJ - Slide Attendant position at City of Rock Island?
Responsible for overseeing the slides and the safety of the participants.
This is seasonal, hourly work related to the Whitewater Junction swimming pool. The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend (May) through Labor Day Weekend (September). Training hours before may be required.
New hires under 18 will start at $14 per hour, while individuals 18 and over will start at $15 per hour. -Must be at least 16 years of age
-Must be able to give direction and enforce water slide rules/facility rules consistently
-Must have good decision-making skills
-Must recognize and respond effectively in emergencies
-Must possess good listening skills
