What are the responsibilities and job description for the RECREATION SUPERVISOR II (SUNSET PARK ATTENDANT) position at City of Rocky Mount?
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
(Note: Weekend work will be required and this position is seasonal).
DEFINITION: Responsible for assisting with the operation of Sunset Park Concessions and amusements.
REPORTS TO: Site Manager assigns work in terms of very general instructions
HOURS: Varies Weekdays (1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) Weekends (1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.). Mostly weekend work.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Assisting in the operation of Sunset Park inclusive of operating rides, working concessions and inspecting parks.
- Operating cash register, stocking concession stands, taking nightly inventories.
- Collecting fees and operating software systems (Active Net).
(Note: Weekend work will be required and this position is seasonal).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some experience working with the public
- Good math skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills are needed
- Must be at least 14 years of age.
