What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive / Legal Assistant to the Mayor and Law Department position at City of Rocky River?
The Executive / Legal Assistant to the Mayor and the Law Department provides administrative and legal support to the Mayor, the Director of Law, and the Assistant Director of Law.
The Executive / Legal Assistant also functions as the liaison between the Mayor's office, the Law Department, the City Administration, residents and the general public.
The position involves utilization of standard office equipment including but not limited to the City's telephone system, computer, transcription equipment, copier and fax machines. The work is performed in a typical office setting where the employee is not generally exposed to environmental conditions.
Minimum Qualifications :
- A high school education
- At least five (5) years of previous experience in an executive-level clerical and legal administrative position involving exposure to government or a law office, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the skills and abilities necessary to perform the job.
- College or business school course work is preferred.
- A valid state issued Driver's License
CompensationSalary will be depending on qualifications and comes with full benefits with public pension.
