GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

This position involves providing general software and user support for multiple departments within the City of Rogers. Assists in organizing, building, maintaining, and monitoring computerized databases and software suites including geographic information systems (GIS), permit tracking, project management, and asset tracking. This individual becomes the city's subject matter expert on each of these platforms. Work includes developing and providing maps, reports, presentations, data, and other information to planning, public safety, building inspection, utilities, City Council, City boards and commissions, other city staff and the general public to aid in various decision-making processes.
