What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preventative Maintenance Foreman position at City of Rogers, Arkansas?
Summary:
This position is mostly field-based and will keep the Parks & Rec maintenance team organized through the use of new and existing software. Position will require a mixture of computer skills and a broad knowledge of general maintenance functions. Organize and schedule various tasks, and coordinate with Maintenance team leadership to ensure that priorities are being met.
Essential Duties:
- Identify and organize the various items that require preventative maintenance including annual inspections, seasonal and regularly scheduled PM’s, and upcoming projects.
- Develop and manage the database and/or applications to document that work has been completed and any associated records are kept. Become primary user of CityWorks for the Department
- Work with Maintenance Superintendent and Asst. Super’s to establish working checklists and help allocate work assignments for the team.
- Organize ongoing Capital Expenditure projects; monitor work flow and gather necessary bids to keep projects on track.
- Help with seasonal maintenance projects during busier seasons
- Promotes positive public image to citizens through excellent customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Parks Superintendent or Department Director.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in a data organizing role and/or maintenance team. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of, or ability to learn additional software, such as GIS, CityWorks, and Building Systems Management software.
