**Job Overview**
The City of Rohnert Park is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Part-Time Community Service Leaders.
As a Part-Time Community Service Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing established community service programs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising activities in community parks, community centers, and sports center
- Providing customer service
- Responding to requests, complaints, and inquiries from class instructors, rental groups, and the public
- Ensuring the safety of the public and staff by inspecting and maintaining facilities and equipment
- Maintaining facility use; opening, closing, and securing building for events and assisting in supervision and preparation of the facility and amenities for patron use
- Issuing and collecting recreation equipment and supplies
- Performing cash handling duties, maintaining adequate change, preparing deposits, and balancing register
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Sufficient education, training, and/or experience to perform the required duties of a Part-Time Community Services Leader
- Experience providing recreation or leisure services is desirable
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- English usage, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation
- Standard office practices and procedures including arithmetic
- Ability to safely lift and move items such as chairs, tables, and recreation equipment
