The Accountant Technician I is responsible for diverse matters, some of which have deadlines and require significant attention to detail. Approximately 45-70% of time, work is performed at a high level of detail or pressure of deadlines.
Activities that occur constantly (5–8 hours/shift): talking, hearing
Activities that occur frequently (2–5 hours/shift): standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motions
Activities that occur occasionally (up to 2 hours/shift): lifting, carrying, eye/hand/foot coordination
Activities that occur rarely (do not exist as regular part of job): pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling
- Answers phones and assists residents with various questions related to billing, making payments and directions.
- Processes utility payments.
- Responds to questions and inquiries from title companies.
- Assists residents with creating online accounts and setting up automatic payments for utility billing.
- Processes account final billings and make adjustments on accounts as needed.
- Balances daily receipts batch and cash drawer.
- Processes payments for other departments.
- Reconciles accounts payable and vendor transactions on a weekly basis.
- Maintains and updates animal licensing records.
- Assists with monthly and weekly Accounts Receivable processing.
- Assists other departments and employees as necessary, specifically reception and utility billing clerk.

- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred
