JOB
Executes and leads activities while interacting and maintaining the safety of participants in a recreation or sports program environment. Work is performed under immediate supervision with exercise of judgment in accordance with established policies, procedures and techniques. This position is a temporary seasonal position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Aids in the execution of all summer sport programming within the facility including youth camps, clinics, and other sport specific training programs and leagues.Oversees the conduct and behavior of program participants and ensures safety of participants.Assists in facility set up/clean up.Works cooperatively with other programs and operations team members to meet program goals.Creates an environment that promotes sportsmanship and team atmosphere.Adapts camps and programs to accommodate individuals with a variety of disabilities.Positively and professionally communicates any necessary information with team, management, participants and parents in a timely manner.All other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must possess current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain during training.
