Join Our Team – Code Enforcement Officer
The Planning Department for the City of Russellville is hiring a Code Enforcement Officer to help maintain the safety and appearance of our community.
This role requires exceptional customer service skills while performing investigative, technical, and administrative work to enforce city ordinances.
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating complaints and conducting proactive inspections.
- Educating residents and business owners on code requirements.
- Identifying violations and issuing notices.
- Conducting field inspections and interpreting legal provisions.
- Testifying at hearings and collaborating with city officials, legal teams, and community members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 19 to 23 months of related experience and/or training.
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license with a good driving record.
Salary: $37,190
