Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for registering teams and individuals for programs, scheduling league play and practices, and coordinating field and facility reservations.
The role also involves recruiting, training, and supervising seasonal staff, officials, and volunteers to ensure high-quality programming.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets, secure sponsorships, and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, and community partners will be essential to success in this position.
This role requires a hands-on approach, including supervising evening and weekend events, assisting with park maintenance to ensure safe and well-maintained facilities, and working closely with other city departments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination). Management experience preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to recruit, train, and supervise seasonal staff.
- Event & Program Planning: Strong organizational skills for coordinating leagues, tournaments, and special events.
- Customer Service Focus: A positive and professional attitude when interacting with community members.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call for events as needed.
