About the Position
The Saint Paul City Attorney's Office is accepting applications for multiple attorney positions in its Civil Litigation Division. The pay range will be dependent on qualifications.
- Associate Attorney Salary Level : $51.00 - $58.03 Hourly; $106,080.00 - $120,702.40 Annually
- Attorney Salary Level : $54.11 - $66.80 Hourly; $112,548.80 - $138,944.00 Annually (To be considered at the Attorney level, candidates must have at least 3 years of directly related experience.)
- Senior Attorney Level : $63.43 - $79.48 Hourly; $131,934.40 - $165,318.40 Annually (To be considered at the Senior Attorney level, candidates must have at least 7 years of directly related experience.)
Attorneys in these positions perform a wide variety of routine to complex professional legal work at the full performance level in the City of Saint Paul City Attorney's Office to include representing the City and City employees in civil litigation, and providing general legal services to various City departments, divisions, offices, authorities, boards, commissions and committees; and related duties as required.

Position Requirements
Juris Doctorate Degree and a license to practice law from the Supreme Court of the State of Minnesota.
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong analytical and trial strategy skills.
Preferred candidates will have civil litigation experience and be admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
