Learn and grow:
Build leadership skills working with a diverse team supporting over 58,000 utility accounts. Grow your network as you connect with other City professionals, outside organizations, and local service agencies. Learn multiple systems and techniques to grow your knowledge.
What you will do:
Analyze customer account information and provide guidance and solutions. Provide customer care and support for over 57,000 community-wide customer accounts on the phone (in a call-center environment), in person, and in writing. Lead your team by assigning and reviewing work, handling escalated customer calls, managing the billing and collection processes, performing simple to complex financial adjustments, maintaining the integrity of customer-related information, generating utility bills and notices, processing financial transactions, maintaining City assets by requesting inspections and investigations, and resolving customer utility-related issues.

What are the minimum qualifications?
- Must pass the pre-employment background check.
- High School diploma or G.E.D., supplemented by trade or professional training technical training or course work in a closely related field in the area of specialty, and four (4) years of professional administrative level experience involving review, analysis, and preparation of recommendations, development of administrative policies, procedures and systems; or any combination of experience and training that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities as listed, and ability to perform the essential job functions.
