Join Team Salisbury as a Utilities Systems Maintenance Supervisor (Water Service Connections). SalisburyRowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates to oversee the division that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 23,000 water meters. Primary duties include; supervising and coordinating the work of assigned staff; investigating customer water usage concerns and helping to resolve difficult issues; coordinating and serving as ORC for the backflow and cross-connection program; participating in the on-call rotation; and ensuring that accurate data is provided for monthly bill generation.

Minimum Requirements:
- Considerable experience working with water meters or related utility field experience.
- Backflow Prevention & Cross-Connection Control Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- C-Distribution Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Meter Technician Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid NC driver’s license.
Closing Date: January 17, 2025
Salary range: $26.16 - $37.42
$2,000 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after the completion of a successful probationary period.
