Join Team Salisbury as a Water Service Connections Supervisor. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates who will oversee the division that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 23,000 water meters. Primary duties include; supervising and coordinating the work of assigned staff; investigating customer water usage concerns and helping to resolve difficult water related issues; coordinating and serving as ORC for the backflow and cross-connection program; participating in the on-call rotation; and ensuring that accurate data is provided for monthly bill generation.

Minimum Requirements:
- Considerable experience working with water meters or related utility field experience.
- Backflow Prevention & Cross-Connection Control Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- C-Distribution Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Meter Technician Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid NC driver’s license.
Closing Date: April 10, 2025
Salary range: $26.16 - $37.42
$2,000 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after the completion of a successful probationary period.
