About the Department of Infrastructure and Development
The Infrastructure and Development Department is responsible for administering all infrastructure and development projects in the City. The Department is the one-stop-shop for developers entering the City to have projects reviewed through all phases, including Planning, engineering, Traffic Control, Building Permits, Fire Marshal, and Construction Inspection.
Position Summary
The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the various divisions of the Department of Infrastructure and Development. Under the supervision of the Director, this position performs routine to complex clerical and administrative duties. Prepares correspondence, memos, payroll, spreadsheets, and meeting agendas and minutes. Maintains employee and department records. Answers and directs telephone calls and emails and assists in-person customers. Attends meetings as required for administrative support. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
One to two years of related experience working for a government entity or business related to public works desired.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Further education (degrees, coursework, or certificates) is desirable.
Requirements/Certifications
Valid driver’s license.
Proficiency with office equipment and software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,427.00 - $41,595.00 per year
