As a Regulatory Compliance Technician in the City of Salisbury, you can make a difference! Salisbury Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates who will provide assistance to the Pretreatment Program and Compliance Laboratory. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with industrial, FOG and stormwater inspections, various sampling tasks, and lab analysis as well as environmental inquiries, complaints, field investigations and maintaining reports and files in accordance with State requirements. MinimumRequirements:
- High school diploma or GED and minimal experience in water/sewer operations or programs, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid NC Driver’s License
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Requires occasional heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Must have Pretreatment grade 1 certification or ability to obtain within two years of employment
Closing Date: March 8, 2025
Hiring range: $21.52 - $27.98/ hour (Depending on experience)
$2,000 sign on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after successful completion of the probationary period.
