The Department of Transportation is currently seeking to fill 1 vacancy for the Associate Engineer position on the Pavement/Bridge/ADA Curb Ramps Engineering & Management. This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions in the future in other divisions or departments. Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the required professional engineering discipline or possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience.
Acceptable Substitution: A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the required professional engineering discipline may be substituted for one (1) year of professional engineering experience.
Licenses/Certificates: Certificate of Registration in a relevant professional engineering discipline may be required for some positions. Possession of a valid State of California’s driver’s license may be required. Other licenses or certificates may be required for particular positions.

Failure to pass the DMV Pull Notice assessment will deem you ineligible for employment.
