JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY :
Receive and process registration requests for walk-in and over the phone customers. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers including : answering the telephone, counter reception, interfacing with visitors, providing receipt of payments, responding to emails and using automated and manual record keeping.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED :
Employees in this classification work under direct supervision of the Department Supervising Administrative Assistant.

- Conducts daily opening and closing procedures.
- Provides a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers,
- Provides front desk customer service support; receives and processes telephone calls and walk in requests; provides factual information regarding City and departmental rules, policies and procedures.
- Operates standard office equipment, including job-related computer hardware and software applications and multi-line telephones.
- Collect and account for fees and other monies.
- Supports departments needs in absence of Supervising Administrative Assistant.
- Performs related duties similar to the above in scope and function as required to support the Department
