What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance II position at CITY OF SANDUSKY?
Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in Parks & Public Realm such as planting, mowing, plant and tree trimming, trash and debris collection, with a focus on waterfront properties and regions. Pulling and spraying of weeds in landscaping beds or pathways throughout the city. Repair or maintenance of grounds and facilities and snow removal of the City; does related work as required. Responds to emergency calls and complaints. Duties will also include set-up and removal of all accessories associated with special events such as portable stage/screen picnic tables, trash cans, bleachers, barricades, safety cones, tents, banners, decorations and all others needed.
