GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
Under the supervision of the GCIC TAC, this individual provides GCIC data entry, clerical, and records maintenance support. In compliance with applicable GCIC regulations, enters data including stolen or lost property, vehicles, missing person, guns and active City and State warrants into the GCIC / NCIC system. In addition to entries, GCIC specialists also perform monthly validations. This is a highly sensitive position and conforms to the requirements overseen by the GBI / FBI.
SCHEDULE :
This position will require shift work, including nights and weekends, to support a 24 / 7 operation. Shifts are assigned based on seniority.

Full-time city employees receive a contribution of 12% of their annual salary into a 401(a) from the City of Sandy Springs beginning the first month after 90 days of employment.
In addition to the City contributions to the 401(a), you can contribute into the 457(b) plan up to the Federal limit. The City will provide you a matching contribution of up to 5% of your salary that you defer into this plan. City contributions will be made to your 401(a). City contributions are fully vested after 5 years of employment.
