DESCRIPTION
In a nutshell, the Santa Barbara HR Team is seeking someone who excels in providing outstanding customer service and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will help our department develop and input correspondence and data into our computer systems, take on projects requiring online organization using technology tools, inform the public about our departmental policies and procedures, and assist with sorting, filing, copying, or general clerical activities. Key responsibilities include typing, proofreading, and word processing various documents, entering and verifying data from multiple sources, and assisting in report compilation. You will also participate in routine record-keeping, operate office equipment, maintain complex filing systems, and handle clerical duties. Additionally, you'll answer phones, assist the public with information, and process mail.
